That’s why we’ve created the Janus Peak Performance Challenge, a race within a race created specifically for financial/investment professionals who are registered for Life Time Tri Minneapolis.

What is the Janus Peak Performance Challenge?
The Janus Peak Performance Challenge, is available to registered athletes in Life Time Tri Minneapolis at no additional cost. It’s a race against and with your colleagues in a friendly competition that differentiates better from best. The Janus Peak Performance Challenge is designed for both seasoned and first-time triathletes who are looking for a unique way to develop an edge that rewards them personally and professionally.

Who can participate in the Janus Peak Performance Challenge?
The Janus Peak Performance Challenge is open only to registered competitors in the 2013 Life Time Tri Minneapolis who are professionals in the Investment Services Industry.*

Athletes in the international distance race, sprint distance race or on a relay team are all welcome to participate. The international distance is our competitive category, awarding prizes to the top finishers.

What are the perks?
The biggest reward will be the personal satisfaction that comes from completing the race. But if that’s not enough, all participants will also receive:

• Limited Edition Janus Peak Performance Challenge Tri Tank
• Headsweats race hat
• A customizable online training program by expert endurance coach Troy Jacobson. With modules for both beginners and experienced athletes, you’ll get everything you need to insure your success at the race.
• Access to a premiere VIP tent at the post-race party for yourself and two guests

What’s the Challenge?
Janus will present awards to the top three male and female international distance finishers for overall time at the awards ceremony after the race. The first place female and male finisher will also receive a complimentary entry into the 2014 Life Time Tri Minneapolis.

Athletes registered in the sprint distance or relay are also welcome to participate in our non-competitive category and still enjoy the full benefits of the program.

How much does it cost?
It will cost you time away from the office (to train, of course) — but no more. Registration for the Janus Peak Performance Challenge is absolutely FREE.

How do I register?
Registration for this program is part of your regular race registration process.  Simply answer “YES” to the question “Are you in the Investment Services Industry” and complete the online form.

When is the registration deadline?
Online registration will be open until July 6, 2013. After this date, visit the Janus booth at the race expo to register on site.

*For the purposes of this program, a professional in the Investment Services Industry is defined as a person who is employed by a company that provides asset, money or wealth management, or investment advisory and investment management to investor clients.
